Dave’s wise words

Fresh from putting the icing on the cake of the final report of IPPR North’s Commission on the Future of Public Services (I’ll leave it to others to say whether cake or topping provided more nutrition), I am on the road again. This time to the strangely old fashioned surroundings of Chesford Grange Hotel near Leamington [...] Related posts:

Citizen Power

Localism is more than a set of principles

In the last couple of years all the major political parties in the UK have been falling over themselves to talk up their radical credentials. Much of this is filtered through the ‘localism debate’ and ideas surrounding the decentralisation of power and influence away from Whitehall into the hands of frontline staff and local people. [...]

The prisons blog is changing

It has been a few weeks since I last wrote for which I apologise especially to the faithful few who read my blog regularly (hi mum). As I mentioned back in June, the RSA is once again tackling the issue of drug and alcohol misuse and the public service/s that seek to address these ongoing challenges.  Building [...]

Welcome to the London City Network

Welcome to the London City Network, an online space for Fellows and friends in and around London to meet, greet and share ideas with each other. Fellows often say that the thing they value most about the RSA is the chance to meet other Fellows, develop new relationships and find potential collaborators. This network is a step towards building a community of Fellows in London to support, amplify and encourage all the fantastic work people are doing together and explore new possibilities for future projects. If you have an idea or a burning issue you'd like to share, why not write it up below on the blog and see if you can find some support amongst the Fellowship.

Network development: We discussed future direction at our meeting on August 7. These's an online forum here following on issues raised.
